Location
Everything about this session gives me all the heart eyes!! One of my favorite sweet families, that light though, and this gem of a location! I found this field just outside of Crestview in Baker, and was so excited to photograph here! It was a lovely location for this Crestview, FL baby photographer! From the lovely tall grass to the light dirt road (a rarity here- most of our dirt is orange clay!), I was swooning! I enjoy exploring locations away from the beach. The next non-beach location on my photographer’s bucket list is Naval Live Oaks Reservation.
Light
We had some lovely filtered sunshine this evening. I was able to both side and backlight beautifully in this location. Because there were plenty of large trees, I was also able to take advantage of open shade. I don’t typically get that luxury at the beach. But I do love it!
Style
My favorite topic! I love helping families style their sessions. For instance, I collaborated with Stephanie on this session via private Pinterest board (a service available to all of my single families!). She chose outfits based on my recommendations and did a beautiful job! Her dress is Morning Lavender. And I love that she took the opportunity to put Miss A in two outfits!
Above all, this is a family I adore and I love being able to preserve these fleeting moments for them!
